Sometimes you have to do things even if other people don't like it. To learn and grow.

“instead of just looking at the drawing for its own merits (no matter how bad the drawing is) it is compared to every other work I have done.....WHY???” ~ spartacus13

Very few artists have the ability to create awe-inspiring artwork on a consistent basis. When an artist is able to repeatedly impress viewers, that artist earns a special form of respect from fans. Its much like *insert favorite television series*. You don’t expect every episode to be perfect, but when a new episode is able to improve over a previous favorite, its special.

Your talent has earned you that special form of respect.

Well, you ARE quite well spread across the internet. Seems you've made too much of a name for yourself. People now expect a certain standard from you and go all WTF when it's not met. Once they taste greatness anything else just isn't up to par anymore. It's not that it's bad, it's just anonymous is rather fickle.

I suppose your only option is to find a new crowd to gather critiques from or reserve those particular pieces for yourself. After all, if it is just for fun, do you really need critiques on it?

very true but I am not growing as an artist sometimes.. just being lazy lol
